Our Story & Our Mission My name is Richard Davis and I am the father of a child with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). When my sonwas first diagnosed, my wife and I were shocked by the lack of quality educational resources available to parents. We felt clueless. We felt helpless. And with our son unable to verbally respond to questions, ruled by obsessive, repetitive behaviors and prone to heartbreaking meltdowns, there were many times we felt like giving up. We felt defeated. And that’s when the idea for Undefeated Parent was born. If only there were videos that took parents step by step through what to do in real world situations that every parent in my shoes…and in your shoes goes through. Meanwhile, we tried everything under the sun and for us, anyway, tried and true professional therapy actually delivered results. We saw tremendous progress. Now we’re years from those days. Our son continues to make incredible progress. He’s in a typical school, has a great sense of humor and in short stretches you would never know he’s on the spectrum. But I still think back to those days of feeling just completely lost. I don’t want anyone else to feel that way. So I quit my job and decided to create the tools I would have wanted for myself as a parent back then. Undefeated Parent isn’t my company. It’s my passion and my calling. My mission is to provide affordable, real-world training for parents of children with special needs. Our videos have been developed by expert professionals and use a learning style we feel is incredibly effective and easy to digest. Our materials are not meant as a replacement for professional therapy. But we believe they can play an essential role in making a difference in your child’s life and yours. Right now a portion of our profits are going to the Jericho School. This is an amazing institution for children with autism and autism related issues.
