I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. While still attending college I was offered my first position in the Information Technology field as a mainframe systems programmer.  This full time position caused me to stretch out my final year of school over the next 3 years taking courses at DeVry and at the University of Texas in Arlington.  I then got the opportunity to expand my career scope into the PC area, and obtained a position as a network administrator. After completing my Novell Certified Network Engineer training and obtaining my certification I moved into a senior network engineer position.  I left the company that I was with and took a position with a start-up company as the Manager of Information Technology.  That was an exciting time in my career getting to develop a network from 1 server and 5 computers into a WAN that currently supports over 1000 employees.  I left that position to get back into a more technical role, which is where I enjoy working and have always excelled.    I am committed to work within the  small business market,  providing the knowledge and experience that help small business utilize technology effectively to ensure their success.
