Mission/About Us The Space Coast IPA, a non-profit Independent Practice Association, was formed to provide a quality physician network on the east coast of central Florida. The Space Coast IPA represents primary and specialty care physicians in Brevard that have made a commitment to quality and excellence. Many of physicians in the Space Coast IPA have been identified by United Healthcare as United Healthcare Premium Providers and by Cigna as Cigna Care Providers. These designations identify the Space Coast IPA physicians as high-quality and high-value physicians. While many other physician organizations have come and gone over the years, Space Coast IPA continues to grow and clearly demonstrate its positive relationships with healthcare organizations, health insurance plans and the managed care community. Space Coast IPA is the most comprehensive physician network in east central Florida. The Space Coast IPA is a clinically integrated network for physicians, allowing them rapid access to medical treatment for patients. While working closely with its managed care organizations and health plans, the Space Coast IPA will continue to share information critical to better patient care management. This sharing of claim and clinical data between Space Coast IPA and the health plans helps to identify high-risk patients, clinical trends and patterns which are critical to cost effectiveness and the continuation of better patient care in the future. FREE membership in Space Coast IPA (Independent Physicians Association) will provide the breadth, scale and integration to enhance the quality of care while reducing the cost of care that payers are seeking to achieve. The Space Coast IPA has been established to allow the physicians and allied health professionals to work together on clinical initiatives that will lead to demonstrable quality and cost efficiency in the delivery of healthcare.
