Playing sports is an exciting experience and a great way for boys and girls to learn valuable skills. The Jacksonville Jayhawks is dedicated to helping youth develop physical and mental skills that work well on and off the court. Our coaches provide instruction and guidance, as well as instill a sense of respect, responsibility and accountability.      Our Mission     The programs help youth build a sense of teamwork, cooperation and community. For the Jacksonville Jayhawks and our players, it isn't about winning but learning how to set goals, be proactive, and working hard. Whatever level interest or aspiration a player has, Jacksonville Jayhawks has a place for them. From league basketball tournaments and clubs to regional playoffs and travel teams. Jacksonville Jayhawks Training Session w/special guest •Variety: AAU teams are independent organizations with a lot of latitude as to type of team, practice and play schedule, costs, playing time, travel limits, coaching philosophy, etc. It’s important to match the right program with the needs of your child and you. Making a certain AAU team guarantees nothing. No AAU program will be able to guarantee your child will be exposed to any college program
