Jacksonville Jaycees Inc., chartered in 1922, represents the longest-established young professionals group in Jacksonville. Known formally as Jacksonville Junior Chamber, it is a non-profit organization for active citizens aged 18 to 41 who are committed to making an impact within their communities. The Jaycees are part of Junior Chamber International (JCI), which unites dynamic individuals from various sectors with a shared interest in enhancing community welfare and leadership. This energetic organization not only supports civic engagement but also aids members, aged 18-41, in developing personal and professional skills through involvement in community service. Leadership development, recruitment, and member encouragement are integral to their mission, allowing diverse backgrounds and career paths within the Jaycees. The Jacksonville Jr. Chamber serves the community in four key ways: volunteering, leadership skill enhancement, membership development, and promoting diversity. Regular meetings occur on the second Monday of each month with venues rotating quarterly, offering continuous opportunities for networking and professional growth. Jacksonville Jaycees Inc., a Florida corporation, was incorporated on August 3, 1990. It is located at P.O. Box 10817, Jacksonville, FL 32247. The organization experienced its most recent event, a reinstatement, on December 17, 2022, with the last annual report filed for the year 2024 on March 15, 2024. The current officers and directors include Melissa Robinson and Kara Tucker serving as President, guiding the organization toward achieving its mission of fostering leadership through community service and engagement.
