Jacksonville Jaycees Inc., established in 1922, is the city's longest-running young professionals group. Also known as Jacksonville Junior Chamber, it's a non-profit for active citizens aged 18 to 41 eager to make a meaningful impact on their community. As part of Junior Chamber International (JCI), it connects vibrant individuals from various fields who are passionate about improving community welfare and developing leadership skills. This lively group doesn't just encourage civic engagement; it helps members enhance personal and professional skills through active involvement in serving the community. Developing leaders, recruiting new members, and fostering encouragement among its diverse membership base are central to their mission. The Jaycees focus on four main areas: volunteering, enhancing leadership abilities, nurturing memberships, and promoting diversity. They host monthly meetings every second Monday of the month at different venues each quarter, providing continuous opportunities for networking and professional development. Incorporated in Florida on August 3, 1990, Jacksonville Jaycees Inc. is based out of P.O. Box 10817, Jacksonville, FL 32247. The organization saw a significant milestone with its reinstatement event on December 17, 2022. They have also filed their annual report for the year 2024, as of March 15, 2024. Melissa Robinson and Kara Tucker currently lead the group as Presidents, steering Jacksonville Jaycees Inc. toward fulfilling its mission of fostering leadership through community service and engagement.
