Writer/Director Jeff George began making films in 1997 at The George Washington University. His first short won third place at the school's annual film festival. A graduate of NYU and UCF, Jeff's senior thesis "g.p." took home honors from a number of national film festivals. Jeff honed his craft by directing short films, commercials, and industrials, working in a variety of on-set positions and writing a handful of feature-length scripts. Jeff worked with producers from Phoenix Pictures on "Basic" while observing the direction of John McTiernan, then as the Camera PA on "The Punisher," working under D.P. Conrad Hall, Jr. and Writer/Director Johnathan Hensleigh. Jeff then took the path less traveled by owning and operating a photography business, a frozen yogurt store, and a custom cookbook business. Gaining much needed life and storytelling skills, Jeff returned to filmmaking by writing two feature-length screenplays, and was recently awarded an Emerging Artist grant for screenwriting from Creative Pinellas. His screenplay "Monarch" was selected in the 2017 Oaxaca Filmfest.
