President of DiRecManagement, Inc. from March 1997 until present, Mr. McBride has been gaining experience in collections and operations since 1972. He attended the University of South Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974 and later received Paralegal Certification from Spring Hill College. Mr. McBride is a member of the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA), the Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). He’s also a former Board of Directors member and President of the American Alliance of Creditor Attorneys, as well as past President and Board Member of Gulf Coast Collectors Association. Mr. McBride has been recognized by Scholar Degree in Collection Business Management by ACA International and is a licensed Tennessee Collection Service Manager. Stephen Ryan, DiRecManagement’s Director of Collection Operations since 1997, is an alumnus of the University of South Alabama and 20 Century Business College. He has extensive experience in general collections began in 1980 and 3 -party collections in 1987. Prior to becoming a part of the DiRecManagement team, Mr. Ryan was the Branch Manager at Household Finance, where he was responsible for all facets of branch operation, from lending to collections. Mr. Ryan is an ACA International Certified Collector and Board Member of the West Mobile Rotary Club. A University of South Alabama graduate, Mr. Steadham has served as DiRecManagement’s Medical Collections Manager since 2011. Prior to his current position, he was the team’s Small Balance Collection Manager (2009-2011), Retail Collector (2004 – 2009), and Medical Collector (2002-2004). Mr. Steadham is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and is an ACA International Certified Professional Telephone Collector. Employed in the field of collections since 1973, Mrs. Hurd, Vice President and Partner of Care Professional Services, has over 40 years of experience in medical collections, Medicare, Medicaid, Workman’s Compensation, commercial insurance and private pay collections. After attending Springhill College, Mrs. Hurd was employed as a collector and manager with a large, Alabama-headquartered medical collections agency from 1973 – 1995. She later worked as the Credit Manager at Sodexho Marriott and as Vice President and partner of Care Professional Services, working on site at USA Medical Center. Just prior to joining the DiRecManagement team, Mrs. Hurd was employed by Southern Credit and Collection Services. A member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), Mrs. Hurd is a welcome addition to our organization. Joey Jordan has served as DiRecManagement’s Administrative Director since January of 2016. He has been with the company since 2000, starting as a part time collector, and worked in different roles throughout the office, from skiptracing, to assistant bookkeeper, to bookkeeper. He also serves as DiRecManagement’s in house IT support. DiRecManagement’s Lee Bowles has been the company’s Legal Manager since 2005. A 1993 graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Organizational Communication, Marketing minor, Mr. Bowles has garnered experience in 3 Prior to joining DiRecManagement in March 2017 as Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Robin Long was president of the Associated Collectors of Mississippi (now the Gulf Coast Collectors Association) and a past board member of both chapters of the American Collectors Association/ACA International. He has been active in the Medical Group Management Association since 1995. Robin graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University, and has been in the collection industry since 1982.
