Complex Systems Innovations (CSI) envisions sustainable and independent organizations and communities.   Independence does not mean isolation.  Independence comes from collaborating in larger systems that generate opportunities for providing a healthy, safe, and creative quality of life. Our team came together with this shared vision and similar experiences that include a large variety of content areas and diversity.  In common, we have experienced the struggle of helping individuals, organizations, and communities to think forward with a broader, hopeful, lens of people helping people in sustainable and cooperative ways.  We have the tools and the training to help programs, organizations, and communities to find their path, adapt to changes, increase their capacity, and to be a premiere partner in systems of any size.  Whether a small business, corporate entity, not-for-profit, government (or government funded) organization, we are ready to work with you. The CSI team incorporates an individual, custom-design approach to services.  Communities, programs and the individuals that staff, assist, or benefit from good programs and quality communities are embedded in their own context, system, and history.  Thus, one size does not fit all.  Assessment of context and documentation of unique characteristics, challenges and opportunities are necessary for CSI to provide services that fit.  Indeed, not doing so leaves the possibility of effectively assisting too much to chance. Each client is treated as the unique entity they are and methods, data collection, resource/capacity development and sustainability are supported to achieve outcomes and enhance quality of life.  This ascendance of context has strongly influenced the CSI team in their support of systems change and the use of systems theory and complexity science.  Organizations and communities are not isolated from other organizations and communities and it can be disastrous to act as if they are.   Isolated decision making often results in supporting a few and not the community as an integrated whole, leading to failed organizations and communities.  The failure of programs and decline of communities is as often traceable to failure of assessment and implementation of services and businesses internally as not respecting or leveraging the complexity and power of systems externally. CSI works with clients of all types form large to small. Some clients need help in developing results tracking and need help before the system is developed. Others need analytical systems to measure what happened in already existing systems. No matter what the state of the system developed or duration of operation.
