After high school I went on a service mission and accompanied a friend to his appointment with a chiropractic doctor. Watching the doctor perform his craft, while answering and explaining everything he did, shifted my thinking about patient care and before even being adjusted, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology at Brigham Young University- Idaho in preparation for chiropractic training at Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area where I learned the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic. I was instructed in many techniques and find value in all of them but the one that stood out to me the most was Chiropractic Biophysics. The ability to help people express their full potential of life without the need for drugs or surgery in a way that is engaging and personal is a great blessing in my life and I wouldn’t want to do anything else. One of the greatest pleasures of being a chiropractor is helping others realize their potential so they can do the things they find meaningful for a lot longer, whether that is participating in a sport or being able to spend more quality time with their family in the future. About two months after being under regular care, I was no longer taking ANY medications because my body had woken up and started producing everything on it’s own, and better than my body had ever functioned before. My tumors that I had, started shrinking and I haven’t had any since then (10+ years in remission now). I also learned about how chiropractic could help with colds and allergies and I gave that a shot as well. I no longer am allergic to my favorite foods and can be outdoors without my eyes swelling shut and looking like I left a boxing match five minutes before. I am so passionate about chiropractic and seeing people under care. I love watching the changes and growth of all those who come through our doors seeking these miracles and blessings as well. I changed my degree in college after my adjustments so that I could better focus on my passion. I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Marketing and Public Relations with a emphasis in Broadcasting and Public Speaking. I am currently in school working on a degree in Business and felt that real world experiences would be best to learn from, so on the side I work with the clinic on their marketing and social media presence. I am interested in helping people and passionate about building a brighter future for humanity. Each day is full of potential, I just like to help others see that light. I joined the Coffey team because I wanted to gain a greater understanding of all financial aspects that a patient and provider relationship has. From the initial exam and x-rays to the return on the patients account, I work hard so you can focus on getting your care and I work with the insurance companies to help maximize your benefits and returns so that your insurance and money are working for you. My background started as a billing adjuster on the insurance side. I learned which codes were best for which services that were provided and I am able to use all my knowledge from that, to help on the provider side.
