Care Ride, Inc. was formed in 1985 in Pinellas County. Its primary mission is to provide quality, safe and compassionate Wheelchair transportation service to the disabled community. Currently Care Ride provides wheelchair and ambulatory transportation for Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) as well as private pay, Workers' Compensation and HMO’s. We are committed to providing you a to the Pinellas County community. Care Ride is a PSTA authorized D.A.R.T wheelchair and ambulatory transport service provider. We are committed to providing you a safe, secure, and comfortable experience from our professional, friendly, caring and compassionate team who are committed to your complete satisfaction. We service trips originating in Pinellas County, Florida only but will gladly take you anywhere within the State of Florida. Our Mission at Care Ride Our mission is to provide courteous, compassionate and dependable on-time service for individuals who need wheelchair and ambulatory transportation. We treat our clients with the utmost care, respect and dignity to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience each and every time we have the opportunity to serve you. Care Ride is your full service transportation provider. We transport “Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority” PSTA DART Wheelchair and Ambulatory Clients, TD (State of Florida Transportation Disadvantaged Program), Private Pay, Work Comp. & Special needs ambulatory clients. to get you safely to your destination. Unlike other firms who “rent” vans to sub-contractors, our drivers are employee paid and are eligible for company sponsored benefits. Our drivers undergo extensive background checks and are certified by Pinellas County EMS to ensure the highest level of personal integrity. In addition they are certified in First Aid, CPR and undergo Sensitivity Training. Your safety and comfort during transport are our priorities. Care Ride vans are maintained on a regular basis to provide the highest levels of safety and reliability. Care Ride vans are also regularly cleaned and sanitized for your well-being and peace of mind.
