Founded by William J. Benzick in 2003, A’viands was created out of a passion to serve great food, by great people, led by a strong set of core values. Today, A’viands provides food service management throughout multiple industries, including; healthcare, corrections, education, and business dining.
A’viands expanded to the Southwestern United States with the acquisition of Summit Food Service (Summit), a New Mexico-based company that was focused on serving correctional facilities and K-12 schools. The shared vision of both companies resulted in a partnership that truly provides world class food management services and continually exceeds customer expectations in the Southwest and beyond.
