We hired an experienced owner’s rep to facilitate communication and work through construction issues for our new retirement community. zumBrunnen was added to the team to support the process. Their project manager attended every OAC meeting and wrote his report giving bond holders assurance the project was going as planned. He was another set of eyes to make sure the contractor and subs followed the construction specs. It was helpful to have a second opinion. We are very pleased with zumBrunnen’s reserve study. The Project Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. He reviewed our prior study and helped us add and delete items for budgeting purposes. He answered questions at each step of the way and continues to answer our questions even after he completed our study. We found zumBrunnen very knowledgeable of the construction process. Their input, suggestions, and insight demonstrated their depth of the building process. The monthly reports were extraordinary in their detail. They provided construction monitoring services and helped keep the general contractor aware of benchmarks and monitor the percentage of completion to ensure an on-time and on-budget project. They also helped review contingency spending to ensure it was appropriate.
