Robert L. Zobel began his real estate career in 1965 on Long Island, New York. In 1979, he and his family moved to Port Charlotte, Florida and continued his real estate profession unabated and formed Zobel Real Estate, Inc. We are now celebrating our 49th year of continuous real estate service to the public, the building industry, and to the investors, with the last 35 years of them serving and living in beautiful Port Charlotte, Florida. Robert's knowledge of and dedication to the real estate industry is extensive. He formed and operated numerous corporations and companies of which include the brokerage of land, homes, and commercial property; A construction corporation designing and building residential homes; Mortgage brokerage; An online subscription based real estate data service; A property management company; And a marketing company selling the homes of numerous builders through their model home centers, with a highly specialized sales staff. This had been done with his daughter, Laurie, under wing...exposing her to this myriad of experience. And that experience she continues as the licensed Broker and the current President of Zobel Real Estate, Inc. Her father, Robert, is now Vice-President and Broker, co-owner, and still contributes to the organization. Laurie is married to Mark Starkey and they have a 11 year-old son, Zachary. Mark runs his own Tele-Communication company and is a coach on Zachary's football team. The Starkey family enjoys spending time outdoors, boating, golfing and playing football.
