Yulia Shevchenko - Russian and Ukrainian Translator and Interpreter - over 20 years of international experience My path as an interpreter & translator began in the early 90’s when international businesses rushed into the newly opened Ukrainian market. I was fortunate to be immediately immersed into the international business environment as a professional linguist offering services in 4 languages (Russian, Ukrainian, German and English). Among my clients were joint ventures, international companies, metal traders, international certification agencies, government officials, research institutes, clergy and many, many others. I have also spent some time working for an international trading company in Germany and travelling to international expos around Europe. Among my clients are the Department of State Language Services, Federal and State courts, U.S. and State Attorneys and Public Defenders’ offices, international organizations, private companies, law firms and multiple translation agencies. I provide the entire range of language services – simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, translation, editing, proofreading, website localization, and have established relationships with other reliable, professional linguists if teamwork is needed, such as handling major rush projects. Team work for editing, proofreading or large volume rush projects is also possible with the help of my highly qualified colleagues, with whom I have established work relationships.
