Young Electrical Contractors, Inc. (YEC) was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Sandy Spring, Maryland. The officers of Young Electrical Contractors have been involved in the electrical industry since 1976.  The firm is a woman owned Union Contractor and Local Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certified with the Washington Metropolitan Area Airport Authority.  Some of Young Electrical Contractors most notable projects include the Food and Drug Administration CDER-II Office Building in White Oak, MD; Bell-Lincoln Multi-Cultural Middle/High School in Washington, DC; National Institute of Health Building 50 in Bethesda, MD; Pentagon Athletic Center in Arlington, VA; and Anacostia Gateway Office Building/Parking Garage in Washington, DC.
