YOGA ART LOUNGE, LLC, SATELLITE BEACH

Katherine recently moved to Satellite Beach to pursue complementary and integrative health after completing her Bachelors of Science degree in biology. Although she had been doing yoga on and off since she was little, it was during these years of intensive study that she discovered its powerful influence on mind and body. In 2015, she decided to take a semester “off” from school and switched her focus to completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training. She flew to the island of Maui, Hawaii to spend an immersive month studying under the watchful eyes of the senior teachers at Maui Yoga Shala, where she completed her RYT200. Amber, a trained martial artist, began yoga as a way to help heal her body and mind after facing health issues and anxiety. In the summer of 2017 Amber completed her 200 ytt at The Yoga Garden with many incredible teachers. She was then introduced to many different styles of teaching allowing her to share her passion in an exciting way. While training as a martial artist Amber developed a code honor, integrity, loyalty and time which she applies to life and her yoga practice. After her certification she views teaching as a way to reach out to her students and find a common ground. While being a knowledgeable teacher, you’ll often find her taking classes because she believes she is forever a student, learning more everyday. Yoga has been a part of my life for over 15 years. My practice has helped me become stronger, healthier, and more flexible, physically, mentally, and in all other aspects of my life. Yoga inspires me to be the best version of myself, every day. In my teaching, I love to address my students’ practice needs through creative and fun sequences, with careful attention to alignment and individual skill level. Yoga has brought the balance and wellness I was seeking, so it is important to me that I help you discover how yoga can do the same for you. The style of yoga and sequence for each class depend on my student/s skills and needs, making my classes very adaptable, to ensure that everyone will leave the mat feeling refreshed, balanced, and stronger. Kellie loves to share yoga in a practical perspective, with honesty, curiosity and playfulness. Feeling vulnerable and open minded to growth, were some of the gifts she found in her personal practice, and how falling out of a pose and injuries teach so much. She recognized that balance and vitality come through a regular practice, which inspired her to teach and help others. Kellie is an experienced yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance. She has been teaching regularly in since completing her certification in 2012, through YogaWorks in California. Her favorite style of yoga is Vinyasa flow, but enjoys bringing restorative moments to class and teaching beginners classes. Her intention is to guide each student toward exploring their practice through breath and movement, recognizing their own limitations and opportunities to grow. Kellie hopes to always create a comfortable space for students to work with their bodies to experience more profound aspects of yoga. She helps bring poses alive through, alignment, subtle movement, and breathwork, with opportunities to modify or amplify as students develop sensitivity to their needs. She believes that underneath the layers of the body and mind is a sacred energy that connects us to the essence of our true nature, which everyone should have the opportunity to experience. Kellie enjoys learning from various teachers, but is most inspired from her daily life with her husband and two boys. Some of her other favorite things- reading, working in the yard, connecting with friends, good wine and rare moments on her surfboard. with others. Michelle is a powerful, yet gentle teacher with the keen ability to connect understanding and direct experience with both skill and heart. Michelle’s intention is to support her students on there journey where ever they maybe, to help people from all walks of life live with less stress and more joy in there life. She will hold the space for challenge, change, healing, and growth. She has a degree in Psychology, Child Development and Behavior Research. Michelle is a trained Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master.
