Xaphes aims to help our clients become phenomenal public speakers. We anticipate that every participant will learn to create an experience that will engage and connect to listeners. Xaphes is determined to turn our clients into professional vocal and visual storytellers in order to aid in the engagement of their listeners. Lastly, it is important to us that every participant leaves our workshops with a newfound sense of confidence and positive thinking. Tracy LaLonde has been interested in public speaking as a specific skill since she was 12 years old and has been engaged in professional public speaking in a variety of contexts for 25 years. She has worked in professional development in the high-tech and legal industries, and for ten of those years, she taught lawyers how to sell as a business development consultant. Tracy LaLonde started Xaphes in an effort to combine her passion for and experience in public speaking with her priority values of joy, excellence and authenticity. Given society’s heavy reliance on electronic communication, verbal communication has greatly decreased, and public speaking, in some ways, is becoming a lost art. Tracy wants to help lawyers rise above the rest and harness their authentic confidence on their journey to becoming phenomenal public speakers. At Xaphes (“Zah-fees”) we understand that being a sharp public speaker is imperative to being an effective lawyer. Our services are designed to help you master critical elements of public speaking to help you take your skills to the next level. Named after the Thai word for phenomenal, our company prides itself on three core values – excellence, authenticity, and joy.
