A brief history and the Guiding Principle of Wright Maritime Group IIc Those are a few of the words many people used to describe our company's early pronouncements on industry code of ethics, business practices and how a shore company can appropriately support a yacht's management. In the early 1990's our company founder, captain AJ Anderson was asked by a northern European yacht enthusiast to oversee the construction of yacht. One of the conditions of the offer was that a company would be created in which the new employer would remunerate and generally correspond with. Captain Anderson’s mother, Patricia Wright, is the namesake for the company. Following Wright, the word Maritime was an obvious choice and group was chosen as AJ envisioned a number of competency focused business units working under a single set of business principals: WMG. These principals are intrinsically based on business practices that have a determined focus on making people better off for having been touched by Wright Maritime. The main principal is that a strict company policy would be followed that mandates employees to ensure everyone they come into contact with are better-off for being touched by WMG. As individuals and as a team, we strive to ensure that our clients and crews are to be better-off for our service and product.
