Owner and Head Trading Principal of Worldwide Capital Strategies In 1984 Tom began to study ruled based trading approaches to trade commodity futures. From that point on, system development and implementation became a life-long passion. By 1985 Tom had founded Bald Eagle Trading Company and began to apply both his knowledge of price movement and order flow that he observed first hand on the floor of the Mercantile Exchange to the development of a wide array of systematic approaches. Working with a client that was a top programmer he developed over two hundred programs that used methodologies including trend-following, swing trading, momentum and day-trading. He developed programs that traded in different time frames. His theory was that by trading the best of these divergent programs (low correlated) together he could create a smoother equity curve.
