World Container Services, LLC (WCS) is the end result of a venture started by its predecessors in 1973 when a group of visionaries acted on the idea of offering second to none container services to the South Florida Shipping Community. In 2004 this expansion effort, through a joint venture, grew to include US services in Miami, Port Everglades, Tampa, and Manatee in Florida. In 2009 upon the cease of operations of the joint venture, World Container Services, LLC (WCS) was born. Although the name is new, WCS is the continuation of services that were provided at all the above mentioned ports. We are a team of dedicated professionals with over thirty years of experience servicing the South Florida shipping community. To ensure offering the highest quality, our technicians and service personnel are recertified annually and training is provided continually as needed to meet with any technological advances that can improve the quality of service that we provide our customers. We are committed to implementing the latest information systems for the most accurate data. Our software is designed to link all functions of logistics, container and chassis storage and maintenance and repair, as well as gate activity.
