World Book’s Natural Marvels series helps kids in grades 5 to 8 learn about some of Earth’s most fascinating landforms. Each book takes kids on a visual journey through canyons and caves, enchanted landscapes, and mountains of fire and helps them learn how these natural landforms were created. As they read along, kids will be able to explore nature’s skyscrapers, treasures of the oceans, and worlds beneath our feet. Each book has a helpful glossary and an index that direct students to the most important terms and topics. I have so many favorite World Book products, but one of my favorites is the series. My niece needed a little help with math in third grade. I introduced her to the books, which have a graphic novel approach to presenting what can otherwise be somewhat difficult subject matter for a new learner of math and science. The books helped to increase her interest in learning about math, and she brought the books to school to share with her teacher. Her teacher loved them and started using them in her lesson plans, so all the students could benefit from them! I earned my MBA from DePaul University. A native Ohioan, I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University and received my MBA from the University of Dayton. I am a veteran of the US Navy and big fan of the Buckeyes, Browns, Indians, and Cavs. I joined World Book in 1998 after several years in senior positions in manufacturing organizations.
