Experience: 1983-2014 Vice President of Product Strategy, Equifax Workforce Solutions (formerly TALX Corporation) At Equifax, Dave's responsibilities include new business services and expansion, partner initiatives, and integration of acquired products for Equifax Workforce Solutions or EWS. Dave joined EWS in 1983 as a programmer for interactive voice response applications. He was instrumental in the creation of The Work Number® employment verification service and introduced standardized electronic IVR and website products for banking, time collection, 401(k) daily valuation account administration, and reporting school closings for television stations. He also ran the technical service and maintenance portion of the business for several years as hardware and software platforms were phased out to transition the business to a SaaS (Software as a Service) model. In 2000, Dave assumed responsibility for introducing new products such as electronic United States, Canadian, and Puerto Rican tax statements, immigration and insurance verifications for The Work Number, other new features for existing EWS products. In 2004, he was invited to meet with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to make recommendations for the requirements incorporated into the electronic Form I-9 rule. ICE incorporated virtually all of the recommendations into the rule. In 2005, he introduced the I-9 Management product (formerly I-9 eXpress) that allows Forms I-9 to be completed online, automatically verifies eligible employees with the federal E-Verify® program, and integrates with The Work Number to offer unique compliance features and reporting. The I-9 Management product has grown to become the premier product in the industry and to allow EWS to be the largest E-Verify Employer Agent in the country.
