Our mission is to encourage and help children to construct toys and other useful household items, primarily utilizing just wood and glue, just as children might have done many years ago. We encourage development of hand-eye coordination, responsibility and care for one’s property, and pride in one’s accomplishment. The founder of this concept is now 84 years old, and still going strong, manufacturing and selling more than ever! I am, here in Florida, fortunate enough to work with his plans and expertise to service the ever growing American market. In the USA we see the increasing need for our products, as there is precious little similar merchandise available manufactured out of quality domestic materials. School programs, day care centers, rehab facilities, and other church/youth organizations such as Girl & Boy/Cub Scouts, Brownies . . . where kids are challenged to learn, build and grow. Wood ‘n Fun products are sold in minimum quantities of 12 of a kind. Classes can enjoy yet reinforce the experience of building an item together, be individually responsible for completing the project and enjoying the process and the reward of getting it done with their own creative mark. They can assemble a wood product for themselves or give as a gift. What a great way to learn responsibility within a team environment—and completing a goal! And some of the wood products they can build, compete and play together!
