Growing up in the family business not only taught me the skills necessary to build a piece of furniture, but it gave me a sense of awareness I would not have otherwise had. I have learned over time to look for, and to identify people's needs. Eventually, this gave me the confidence and sensitivity to build a new business— one with the future in mind. As time went on and my thoughts evolved, my goal became clear. I would present the world market with beautifully designed and exquisitely made modern product. I knew this wouldn't be easy. But to make any dream come true, you have to be brave enough to take that first step. Fortunately, I was—and the rest is history. For Whiteline Modern Living, it was never about becoming rich.
