White’s Lodging LLC is a Hotel Management and Development company. White’s Lodging LLC developed and operates the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, located in Naples Florida, an 84 room all suite Hotel, and the Hyatt Place Sarasota, a 114 room Hotel, located in Sarasota, Florida. The Hawthorn Suites of Naples was awarded Wyndham’s “Hotel of the Year” in both 2010 and 2014. Tom has also worked as a Corporate Controller for ZF Industries, Lemforder Corporation, and O&S Manufacturing Company. Tom has also worked at Ford Motor Company, ITT Automotive and IBM. Mr. Ronald White has an extensive business background and experience. Mr. Ronald D. White has in excess of 24 years experience in the lodging industry, including ownership, operations, construction and Board of Director experience. Mr. White worked 17 years at Rockwell International, at plants, divisions, and the corporate office. The first ten years were in various financial positions, then three years in manufacturing, and the final four in sales, marketing, and distribution as vice president and General Manager of Aftermarket Operation. During this time while living in the Naperville, Illinois area Mr. White started a rental car business from nothing to a fleet of 88 cars. The firm focused on rental to the insurance industry. In 1983, Mr. White purchased a manufacturer of steering and suspension components from Gulf & Western, in leveraged buyout. Fourteen of the fifteen years that Mr. Ronald White owned the company the company showed increased sales over the previous year, growing from sales of $7,000,000 to $31,000,000, in 1998. The company has since been sold to a German based competitor. While working as a CPA Mike worked in a variety of businesses including Hotels, Condominiums, Real Estate Sales, Land Development, and Construction. Mr. Usher now has over 30 years of experience in various aspects of business with a focus on accounting. I have known the Management team of Tom and Ron White for over 15 years. This father and son duo have created an efficient brand of hospitality management based on Midwestern values and principals. They are experienced and successful hotel developers and operators and it has been a pleasure to work with them especially from a Banker’s prospective.
