Land Rover Restoration and Service company, Congleton Service, and for years has continued to sail his A-cat and Nacra all over the lake. In the fall of 2016 Taylor discovered White Formula U.K. and heard about The Whisper flying catamaran. Taylor immediately placed an order, and after months of waiting was one of the first sailors in the US to take delivery of his Whisper. He quickly fell in love with having the ability to blend his two passions, sailing and flying into one breathtaking experience. Taylor decided to partner up with his brother Parker and a few other helpful friends and develop Whisper Boats USA, and became the US Distributor for the Whisper by White Formula UK. Parker grew up in Vermont and began sailing with his brothers at an early age. He spent many summers at camp sailing, and taking courses at the Lake Champlain Sailing Center in beautiful Burlington, Vermont. Parker spent a decade living in Florida, sailing with friends on occasion, and always coming back in the summer to sail with his brother Taylor and help compete in the weekly races out of Mallets Bay Boat Club. He eventually attended the University of South Florida where he rediscovered his love for sailing at their waterfront center. The University had hobbies and Lazers for student-sailors to explore Tampa Bay in, and he took every advantage that Florida’s near perfect weather would allow. Parker graduated from the University of South Florida in 2016 and moved back to Vermont to help Taylor expand his business and eventually helping start Whisper Boats USA in 2017 after taking flight in a Whisper for the first time. Parker currently races in Lake Champlain on “Flight Risk” a Whisper Catamaran and “Sugar 78” an A-Cat both captained by his oldest brother Taylor Congleton.
