West Coast Castings was organized as an Employee Owned Corporation (ESOP) by Ted Boerger, in 1997. Many of the current employee/owners come from the predecessor company, Alumi-Craft, which was founded in 1948. This translates to more than a 60 year presence in the foundry industry! One of our biggest assets is our customer service. Employee-owned businesses are known to have greater productivity and motivation. Our on-site pattern maker means we can respond to your needs quickly. We also provide machining services, including CNC, and heat treating to your specifications, to take your product through the entire construction process from start to finish. We cast several aluminum and brass alloys using sand casting techniques. We have an array of different flask sizes and molding machines including four manual and one automatic molding stations. Part sizes can range from under one to over 100 pounds, and production runs from one prototype to over 10,000 pieces a month. We can also do heat treatment; T-6 and T-51 tempers in 356 aluminum alloy. We provide certification for metallurgy and tensile strength if needed.
