Equine Quarantine at Ossian Ventures is a team of knowledgeable and experienced equine staff combined with some of the top veterinarians in the country located at a world-class facility. We are proud to offer a combination that has never been available before in Wellington, Florida. – Rich Faver is known by many equestrians as the most experienced and knowledgeable person in the equine quarantine business. Rich Faver, former partner of South Florida Equine Quarantine, has handled over 1000 quarantine horses, over 300 of those horses being stallions. Rich has handled and bred every one of them personally. With a strict protocol that has been adopted through his years of experience, Rich understands the importance of safety to both the stallions and test mares. Rich is a lifelong horseman and former rodeo cowboy. In recent years he has found great satisfaction in starting young horses on the ground, and retraining horses with behavioral problems. His true passion has been working with the stallions, either for breeding, collecting, or CEM quarantine. Rich has handled many top stallions from all disciplines, including Jumpers, Hunters, Arabians and Thoroughbreds. – Dr. Jordan Lewis is a veterinarian from Palm Beach Equine Clinic, the largest equine hospital in South Florida. Dr Lewis is a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinarian Medicine. She completed her internship and surgery at The Equine Medical Center in Ocala, Florida. Dr. Lewis has been the quarantine veterinarian for Rich Faver for the past 8 years. She is one of the most experienced CEM quarantine veterinarians in the business. Dr. Lewis is extremely knowledgeable on all the requirements necessary to get your horse through the quarantine process as quickly and safely as possible. Equine Quarantine at Ossian Ventures offers a world-class facility located on the corner of Indian Mound Road and 125th Street in Wellington, Florida.
