Kara Cook, founder of Well Suited Swimwear, opened the online swimwear boutique in the summer of 2008. Her inspiration was a flattering one-piece swimsuit she purchased off the clearance rack in junior high, and she always wanted to find a swimsuit she felt that confident in. She (many, many years) later thought, “If I can feel good in a swimsuit at an age when many girls are so self-conscious of their bodies, anyone can!” She now specializes in helping women of all ages and shapes find swimwear that is not just flattering, but also inspires confidence.
