Pastor Bill has been saved and preaching since 1979.  He has pastored churches in Georgia and Florida.  God called Bro. Bill to be the Pastor of Welaka Baptist Church in the fall of 2006.  Bro. Bill is joined in ministry by his late wife Mary Lou.  Together God has used them in Revivals, leading Sunday School Clinics, training workers for VBS, along with leading Associational Family Life Fellowships with senior adults.  Pastor Bill loves the Lord, love His church, and is dedicated to fulfilling the ministry God has called them to.  He would love the opportunity to minister and serve you along with your family.  Bill looks forward to meeting you in one of the church worship services or fellowships in the near future.  This congregation of believers shall be known as the Welaka Baptist Church (WBC) located at 670 3rd Ave / State Road 309, Welaka, Putnam County, Florida, and is incorporated under the laws of The State of Florida as Welaka Baptist Church and is approved as a nonprofit organization. Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986  every member for Christian service by helping them discover their unique spiritual gifts. of Christian education; maintain missionary activities in the United States and any foreign country; and engage in any other ministry that the church may decide from time to time, to pursue in obedience to the will of God. I.       It is expressly intended that this congregation is authorized to engage in any activity in pursuit of the above-enumerated purposes by such activities, which may include, but not limited to:  The building, maintaining, and operating of churches, parsonages, Christian schools, Bible Institutes, colleges, churches, mission churches, and other such ministries which may be deemed necessary to be established as led by God.
