Sign up for the Walking on Water eNewsletter Here: Walking On Water Walking On Water is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with this generation’s global surfing community since 1995. Professional surfer Bryan Jennings started Walking on Water with the vision of using his surfing abilities to share his faith with young people. His idea was to hold an overnight surf camp for junior high and high school students where he would not only teach students how to surf, but also focus on sharing his Christian faith. What started as a small camp of ten students has now grown into a worldwide ministry that reaches thousands of people through films, outreach events, surf camps, and international mission trips.  Though the ministry started with surf camps, Walking On Water is best known for its surf films. When Walking On Water created its first film, Follow the Leader, only a few hundred people screened it. The next fourteen years produced Ten more movies that have been seen by over 500,000 people in live attendance. ​This past year Walking On Water Films was involved with the promotion of Bethany Hamilton’s feature film  Sony Pictures also distributed our latest movie titled Walking On Water which was a huge accomplishment as one of the very few documentaries that Sony distributed that year.  Our most recent film,   has already screened to many packed out theaters and churches in just the first month of its release. It is our goal to continue to produce documentaries and feature films that encourage and inspire audiences worldwide.  People of all ages, both surfers and non-surfers, have connected with the life-saving message of Jesus Christ that is conveyed through these films.  Walking On Water is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies on the financial support of churches, foundations, and individuals. A few years later Bryan founded the Walking On Water surf camp as a way to share his love of surfing and his faith in Jesus Christ with the youth of San Diego. Within a few years the surf camps grew into a international surfing ministry which included movie production, surf camps, mission trips, and outreach events. Bryan graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1998 and was honored to receive the PLNU Alumni award in 2010. Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife Korin and daughter Ella and his hobbies include surfing, golfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
