As the founder and pioneer of personalized mini license plates, Potter started the company shortly before the 1964 U.S. Presidential reelection campaign. At Voorco Designs, we take pride in our family name, Voorhees. We reciprocate this pride by placing an emphasis on quality to ensure when your customers discover their name on our products; they feel it was created exclusively for them. With the much-appreciated assistance from friends and family, right here in our home town of Punta Gorda, Florida, we continue to deliver classic mini personalized license plates to fine retail locations all over the world. Steve I’m not sure how many times you came to me about the Children’s License Plates with their name on them insisting what a great sell they are, but I know I said no at least 3 times and regret every time I think about it. They are by far my top seller of any item in my store every other item I sell maybe 4 to 6 a day at best but the License plates I easily sell 18 to 36+ a day! Kids and adults alike love finding their names on items and at the low price they sell for they rarely walk away without buying at least a couple! Thank you for your advice again just wish I would have listened the first time. We sold 1850 in the past 3 months! Our shop was started in 1899 by my great grandfather. I grew up working at the store and as long as I can remember we have sold mini Washington license plates. We have a point of sale system so it is easy to tell our best selling products. The licence plates are consistently right at the top of our best seller list. This is one of those products that is never outdated. They just keep selling year after year. We buy from a lot of suppliers and Voorco Designs is a really easy company to deal with.
