We are called into a relationship with the Lord and in order to strengthen that bond we have to be in continuous conversation with Him. One the greatest ways you can help us serve here at Voice of the Servant is to commit to pray. Pray for the missionaries and evangelists that are throughout the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost. Pray for the leaders of the United States and the other countries around this world. Pray that they would lead according to the example set before us in Jesus. Pray for your communities, for the people struggling with any number of problems in their life, for the churches to be filled with people hungry to hear the message and for every man, woman and child that they might hear the message of salvation. We are committed to praying continuously so that our voice is heard. but, it provides a way to get involved in a number of ways. Being part of church means more than showing up on a Sunday for a couple of hours. The main purpose is to worship the Lord. However, attending regularly will provide you with opportunities to serve in ways you could only imagine. You might be led to travel with a missions group, where you have the chance to share Jesus with people who may have never heard his name. Finding a church allows you to get plugged in with other individuals that are like minded and have a heart that seeks after the Lord. Sharing your life experiences with others can help someone that might be struggling with their faith. You might find that you want to teach biblical principles to some of the other members. Or you might find serving right there in your community to equally rewarding. Serving the homeless in a local shelter, visiting with the sick at a local hospital and spending time helping the elderly, widowed or children. Their are so many ways to get involved sharing Christ with people, but finding a church home to get involved with, surrounded by other caring Christians makes it a lot easier and a lot more satisfying. Without volunteers most churches, non-profit organizations and charities would simply cease to exist. No part is too small when it comes to volunteers. Helping on Sundays to care for the children in your church, helping collect food for the local food bank, delivering meals to shut ins so they eat or ringing a bell at Christmas time in front of a local business. There are no positions too small when it comes to being a volunteer. Local public service agencies need volunteers to help reduce the costs of their goods and services. National and International organizations utilize volunteers in almost every way, shape or form. Jesus instructed us to give of ourselves to those that might need some help along the way. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: Find out what Voice of the Servant is all about! At Voice of the Servant the Goal is Simple… Voice of the Servant was created as an interdenominational Christian ministerial church organization to serve God by serving mankind. Voice of the Servant was founded upon Biblical principles, including the principles of Gospel evangelism and leading people by serving them. Through the years Voice of the Servant has continued to either conduct, sponsor or financially support Christian radio programs, Christian schools, church services, missionaries and evangelists. Voice of the Servant is committed to the proposition that people are more creative, work harder and are more effective when their God-given gifts and talents are properly used. Voice of the Servant is also committed to teaching servant leaders how to achieve performance excellence by stimulating the God-given creativity, ideas, gifts and talents of the people in organizations by creating a culture of caring within the organization; and, by demonstrating to the people in the organization that the servant leader is value-centered, strategically-driven and performance-oriented.
