Gary oversees the Finance and Administration functions within the company. Sheelagh has more than 18 years’ experience in the Australian immigration industry, 4 years of which were with the Australian Department of Immigration in Singapore where she managed the offshore business skills migration programme. With a degree in Accounting, a professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators and a certificate of Immigration Law she has been an Australian registered migration agent since 2001. Sheelagh has worked for some of the world’s largest immigration practice firms, including KPMG and Deloitte, where she advised and managed offshore and onshore client work with a range of corporate clients across many industries. This includes the provision of immigration advice and assistance to the largest Chinese resource project in Australia to date - Citic Pacific Mining and its Sino Iron project at Cape Preston - as well as to JGC Corporation on the Inpex Ichthys project. She ran her own migration agency in Guangzhou China for a number of years and has extensive experience in advising and assisting business skills applicants gain permanent residency in Australia, in particular high net worth individuals applying under the subclass 132 Business Talent (Permanent) visa, subclass 188 (Provisional) and 888 (Permanent) Business Innovation and Investment visas. Cathy developed an interest in Australian migration law whilst working for a large international accounting firm where she specialised in expatriate tax services. In her role as Global Employer Services manager, she provided advice to large multinational corporations on cross border tax issues, the employment tax obligations of their global work force and their global mobility policies. Cathy also dealt directly with the expatriate employees when arriving and departing Australia and prepared the tax advice associated with this process. She worked closely with several migration agents who were part of the larger team and from this experience gained an understanding of the migration requirements for temporary workers, executives and the subsequent transition to permanent residency.
