Village Flagpoles is owned and operated by Therm Nichols, a Villages Resident. Therm Nichols is a US Army Veteran from Michigan, member of The American Legion post 347 Honor Guard, was employed by a large gas/electric utility company, taught high school juniors and seniors at a vocational/tech school and owned and operated Nichols Heating & Cooling, Inc. for 22 years before selling the company to an employee and moving to The Villages, Florida. US and most military flags are made in the USA. College, State, Countries of the world, and seasonal flags are in stock or can be ordered and obtained quickly. When it is time to replace your old flag, Village Flagpoles will deliver your new flags and take the old flags for disposal. We donate the US flags to Operation Shoebox. Operation Shoebox uses a portion of your old flag as part of their mission to support our troops. Any remaining portion of your flag is then given to the American Legion for proper disposal. Our Products Village Flagpoles takes pride in offering high quality products, expert installation and building and maintaining great customer relations. Our telescoping flagpole packages include the flagpole, US Flag, ground sleeve, swivel rings and snaps to fly two flags, and a 3" anodized gold ball top. The flagpole is installed into a ground sleeve, which is cemented in the ground. The flagpole is easily raised, lowered or even removed and stored when the homeowner leaves the area for extended periods of time. We offer a free, no obligation consultation at your home to help you determine the size, color and location of the flagpole installation.
