VIDEOJET TECHNOLOGIES INC., Wood Dale

At Videojet and Danaher, we've been organically practicing social responsibility for years, from promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable practices to improving quality of life through innovation. Corporate social responsibility isn't something that Danaher just adopted; it's built into everything we do. Our breakthroughs and achievements are about making the world a better place. At Videojet and Danaher, we believe that an inclusive environment is an environment that is ripe for innovation and ideas — because inclusion creates a space for associates to bring their best selves to work — and ultimately their best ideas. So, we work hard to attract and develop associates who value differences and look to contribute their diversity of thought, work style and background needed to advance our culture. We are an equal opportunity employer and make employment decisions based on skill, experience and career aspiration. Since its beginnings in the 1960's as a division of the A.B. Dick Company through to Videojet's status today, there have been over 44 years of innovation, development, manufacturing and sales of high quality coding and marking equipment and supplies. Known today as Videojet Technologies Inc., the company provides the right solution through the broadest range of technologies, and is committed to providing quality equipment, supplies, and service designed to perform with maximum reliability, efficiency, ease of operation and little maintenance. Videojet large and small character inkjet printers, laser coding systems, thermal transfer printers and labeling equipment apply variable data such as best-by dates, production date, lot number and operator information, as well as linear and 2D bar codes onto virtually every possible product packaging, shipping container or pallet. With more than 345,000 units installed worldwide, Videojet has over 4,000 employees in 30 direct operations around the world. Our global network of sales and service centers provides all regions with high quality service. Sales, service, training, administrative and application support is provided by direct operations worldwide, including Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom, with more than 250 direct sales and service personnel in the United States alone. Videojet’s distribution network includes more than 400 distributors and global OEMs, serving 135 countries. The European Union Directive 2011/65/EU restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment by July 1, 2006. Categorized as large scale industrial tools, Videojet Technologies’ marking and coding equipment, as those marketed under the Videojet, Willett, Marsh, and Cheshire brands, is not covered by the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) initiative. However, in its desire to be a responsible global citizen, Videojet intends to reduce voluntarily any RoHS substances that may be present in its products. In summary, although the RoHS initiative is not directly applicable to Videojet coding and marking equipment, we will work to meet its requirements over time while continuing to deliver the quality and performance you expect from Videojet products. Our Business As a global leader in the production identification industry, the role we play in protecting our future is critical, and one we will approach with passion, integrity and trust. We demonstrate this in our policies and procedures. We are designing a range of product with environmentally friendly materials – achieving robust ink performance with low-waste ink cartridges. Videojet is driving our operations to be in alignment with ISO 14001 environmental standards – reducing emissions and our consumption of critical resources, energy and raw materials. Our work environment fosters associates growth and provides the opportunity to be challenged.  We provide training and education. As a responsible company and individuals, we are committed to doing our part to build a better future for generations to come, for our associates, our customers and our communities all over the world. We are taking steps to increase our sustainability in every aspect of our business. We are striving to reduce our carbon footprint and minimizing our impact on the environment. We are recycling paper, cardboard, plastic, electronic waste, and fluids. As a responsible corporate partner, we must do what we can to contribute to a sustainable future by developing products and solutions that contribute to better use of energy and less impact on the environment we live in.
