This unique event is designed to provide a high-profile opportunity for charitable organizations to tell their stories, build their strategies and partner with business and community leaders to make a difference in Central Florida. President of Vann Strategies and Founder of the Victory Cup Initiative, Ashley Vann is dedicated to promoting the work of nonprofit organizations in the Central Florida community. Vann’s passion for uniting donors with the causes they care about sparked her idea for the inaugural Victory Cup Initiative. It is her fortitude, leadership and creativity that continue to drive her philanthropic endeavors, and it is because of her devotion, focus and determination to helping others succeed that she is a vital part of the community. Distinguished in the world of business development, resource management and event planning, Vann is a powerhouse in both the not-for-profit and for-profit arenas, having worked with notable clients such as Merrill Lynch, Wells Real Estate Funds and Bank of America. Ten Central Florida nonprofit organizations will receive cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $20,000. Winners will be determined by audience participation. Video production students from Glenridge and Howard Middle Schools worked directly with our nonprofit finalists to help tell their stories to the community. The teams of students planned, conducted interviews, filmed and edited a short film featuring their nonprofit. We are honored to involve talented local students in this process and cannot wait to see how these young people will impact their communities in the future.
