We provide state of the art service and quality care to our patients and their owners. Dr. Alison Birken and the staff work hard to establish a personal relationship with each client and pet. We are conveniently located just North of Las Olas Boulevard on Federal Highway in the Victoria Park Shoppes. We stock a large selection of prescription diet and pet food. Our experienced and dedicated team looks forward to welcoming your family. Victoria Park Animal Hospital takes pride in treating each one of our patients as if they were our own. Your pet’s health is our top priority. “As a child, I especially enjoyed science and math classes in school, and my family has had a bit of a menagerie of pets throughout the years. My experience began as a veterinary receptionist which progressed to a general manager for a veterinary hospital for 10 years. I met Dr. Birken while she was doing relief work for a veterinary hospital I was working at. From the moment I met her I could sense the compassion and love she has for animals. I was thrilled to learn she was opening her own clinic and there was an opportunity for me to work with her. In my spare time I enjoy watercolor painting, gardening and traveling. I am very excited to be part of Victoria Park Animal Hospital and look forward to meeting and seeing all our new and old friends and their fur-babies. Briuana is our adorable, hardworking receptionist here at Victoria Park Animal Hospital. She dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian. Briuana puts her heart and soul into all task given to her at VPAH, whether that is answering phones, filing, or helping Dr. B hold a pet. We are lucky to have her here, and have no doubt that with her work ethic and passion for animals, she is destined to be a great vet. Keep up the good work Briuana! She also has a Basset Hound named Jeby.. woof woof Brittnne is one of our kennel staff members who joined VPAH in early 2017. She has lived a number of places but is now settled here in South Florida. She has a sweet and fun personality and big heart! She believes all animals deserve the best care possible. Brittnne hopes to one day be a veterinarian and is continuing her education and getting work experience here at the same time. She wants to care for and help so many animals along the way! Sarah is one of our kennel staff at VPAH and is our resident “Cat Lady”. She joined our practice in the summer of 2016 after moving from Maryland. She currently has 6 cats and a several rats who she dotes on daily. Sarah’s family has three large dogs back at home who she loves dearly. Before working here, Sarah helped run The Canine Cognition Lab at Hood College where she got her Bachelor’s degree. She’s also worked at a show dog kennel with Kerry Blue and other Terriers and for a cat rescue and done volunteer work with animal shelters. Here at Victoria Park we are so happy to have such caring “Cat Lady” who also loves dogs and all kinds of critters! I couldn't speak more highly of Dr. Alison Birken or of Victoria Park Animal Hospital. She is so very dedicated to her patients and makes pet parents feel at ease! She has taken excellent care of our family pets over the last several years and I feel lucky to call her our veterinarian. Dr. Birken and her staff have taken amazing care of our family's pets for years. I can't say enough good things about our experience.
