From the desk of: Roslyn Yee, Founder, Vibrant Life International For many years I wasn’t always living a vibrant life and I didn’t make my own health and well-being the priority that it should’ve been. With over 20 years of corporate experience working primarily in the media/video production industries and one technology start-up, I often worked long and odd hours. Much of the time I spent at work was very stressful. I knew that something had to change. I saw a holistic practitioner to help me with effects that stress was having on my body. Under his direction, I made certain dietary and lifestyle changes and I began to feel like a new person. I got back a lot more energy; my chronic headaches went away along with my nervous stomach. I then began to take food and nutrition much more seriously. I enrolled in one of the world’s leading nutrition institutes and became a certified health coach. In addition to being a health coach, I became a Certified Holistic Stress Management Specialist, Certified Master Workplace Wellness Ambassador and Independent Stressmaster Associate. I started Vibrant Life International to be an agent of change. Stress has become the invisible disability epidemic that is the result of approximately 80% of all doctor visits. I’d like to do something to change that. I’m passionate about helping live vibrantly and thrive in life, not just survive. In addition, it is my desire to make a contribution to creating productive workplaces as well as educate employees, executives and individuals on how they can make lasting lifestyle changes for total health and well-being. When health and well-being are actively promoted: Organizations are seen by employees as 2.5 times more likely to be a best performer. Organizations are seen as 3 times more likely to be productive.
