I am also tennis professional at John’s Island Club and chocolate addict. Christie is a new resident to Vero Beach from Minneapolis, MN. A former marathon runner for over 20+ years, corporate businesswoman for Fortune 100 companies, she has led a lifestyle of health and fitness. Upon completion of the Boston Marathon in 2008 she decided to dedicate her fitness goals on helping others live a healthy lifestyle and obtained her personal trainer and corrective exercise certification. Christie chose Vero Beach when she instantly recognized a close community that was active and enjoyed a lifestyle of health and fitness and offered an endless list of options for all ages. Instantly recognizing a need for a dedicated indoor cycling studio she quickly approached close friends with the idea of opening Vero Spin. Post marathon years Christie became an avid indoor cyclist enthusiast to replace her need for cardio in a low-impact safe environment.
