Jeff Monroe is a veteran of the data center industry and has developed some of the largest and most sophisticated data centers in the industry, with a total value exceeding $1.8 billion USD. He was a co-founder of the DuPont Fabros Technology wholesale data center business and served as Managing Director, responsible for developing and implementing the wholesale operational model. Prior to Dupont Fabros, he was Vice President of Real Estate, Design, Construction and Director of Operations for AboveNet Communications, responsible for the deployment of twenty-four class A domestic and international technical facilities and the operations that supported more than five hundred collocation customers. Tate Cantrell is responsible for setting the technical direction for the company. He oversees the design and construction of all aspects of the facilities at the data center campus. His breadth of responsibility also encompasses the setup and oversight of operational and security strategies. Aside from his internal leadership, he has a broad range of external responsibilities including client relations and industry-related mentoring. Tate draws on 20+ years of experience in the data center industry. His experiences range from system administration for high performance computing environments to design, strategy and operational oversight during his tenure as Vice President of Technology at Dupont Fabros Technology. Dominic Ward is responsible for the company's finances and business operations. Prior to joining the company, Dominic co-founded Lepe Partners LLP, an investment and advisory business, focused on technology and digital media companies. Previously, Dominic was Co-Head of Direct Investments at the Wellcome Trust, the largest charitable endowment in Europe, where he was responsible for a substantial global portfolio of private equity investments, including an investment in Verne Global. Dominic began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle and then later joined Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance. Dominic is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Julie Callagee is responsible for the finance, accounting, legal and human resources functions at Verne Global. Experienced in global operations, Julie has worked for 20+ years in private industry and public accounting with a focus on technology, renewable energy, construction and M&A. She was CFO for Global Marine Energy Inc., International Controller for MathWorks, Controller for Lycos, and Controller for a privately held construction company. Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Certification in International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS). Bob Fletcher is responsible for the company's go-to-market strategy, ensuring Verne Global’s product proposition and commercial direction are in alignment with today's rapidly changing market dynamics. Bob plays a central role helping Verne Global grow our presence within technology trends such as HPC, AI, machine learning, deep learning and blockchain computing. Prior to joining the company Bob was Vice President of Sales at Renesys, an Internet analytics firm, where he grew the company's sales and brand recognition resulting in its acquisition by Dyn and subsequently Oracle. Bob has been a frequent speaker at Internet backbone industry shows over the last two decades and is a long-standing judge of the Capacity Industry Awards. Previously Bob has held a number of VP roles at telecommunications and technology start-ups. He graduated from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and is now based in Boston, USA. Henry Ancona serves as board member, advisor, and angel investor to technology companies. He has served on the Board of Directors of both private and public companies, helping several to successful M&A transactions. He currently serves as Board Chairman at Signiant, and Board member at BlueConic and Verne Global. With a focus on strategic business development and leadership, Henry serves as Executive Advisor to technology companies and CEOs. These include companies in software, on-line media, consumer internet, cyber security, and other businesses. A venture partner and past Board member of Converge Venture Partners, Henry is an active investor with a portfolio in sectors including software-enabled businesses, software, and applications.Henry has over 30 years of operational experience in both Europe and North America. He was President of Pegasystems (NASDAQ: PEGA) and Chairman/CEO of Evidian and has led several start-ups to billion dollar businesses. Henry holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and BS and MS degrees from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Niklas Savander is an active portfolio company chairman and adviser to Private Equity and Venture Capital funds. In addition to Verne Global, Mr Savander currently is Chairman of Nebula and Cint AB, a senior advisor to Permira in their global technology and nordic funds and an adviser to WiderFi Networks. In addition, Mr Savander is Chairman and Board Member to several non-profit organizations in his native Finland. Mr Savander has a long career in applying technology in multiple different industries. He has served as President and CEO of Elekta, a publicly listed Swedish cancer care equipment and software company. Before that he spent 16 years in senior management roles in Nokia, in their networks, handset and digital services businesses, progressing to the role of COO of the company. Mr Savander also has experience from numerous non-exective roles in companies like NokiaSiemens Networks, Symbian, Tamfelt and others. Mr Savander holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in International Marketing. Trausti Jónsson works in the alternative investment division of Stefnir hf. where he is one of the fund managers of Stefnir‘s private equity funds. Mr Jónsson came to Stefnir from the corporate finance department of Arion Bank, one of the three largest banks in Iceland. His previous experience includes positions in institutional asset management, fixed income funds, and structured products for Kaupthing Bank Asset Management Company. Mr Jónsson also worked at the University of Iceland as a lecturer in courses on portfolio management, derivatives, and fixed income securities. Additionally, he taught a course on derivatives at Bifrost University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Iceland.
