Hello I’m Marcus Whaley, founder of Venture Peru. I have personally traveled throughout almost all of Peru and have spent a lot of time there over the last 8 years. I am a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Social Science and a minor in anthropology. As a kid, I dreamed of being an archeologist and studying the ancient cultures and ruins of the world. I have always had a passion for South America, especially Machu Picchu and the Amazon. After college I had an opportunity to backpack throughout South America, and fell in love with Peru. Although I never became an archeologist, I now get to share my love of the culture and beautiful landscapes of Peru with others. Thank you do much for a wonderful trip!
