You may be an aspiring vegan and would like to stay with someone that could help you on your journey, or eat a niche diet and would love to meet another person who shares this lifestyle with you. Alternatively, you could be staying elsewhere and would just like a stove, blender, juicer or a large salad bowl to make your meal! Search for accommodations by diet and appliances to help find the right place for you.
We want to make sure that you have an awesome experience with each accommodation you book, so we do our best to closely screen all of our properties before allowing them to appear on the Vegvisits platform.

Pictures help travelers imagine themselves staying with you and make them feel more comfortable in general, so upload as many as you like! If you are listing an overnight accommodation, be sure to include photos of where your guests will be sleeping, as well as the surrounding area. Give travelers a glimpse of what it would be like to visit — take pictures of local beaches, ski slopes, vegan/vegetarian restaurants, cafés and bakeries, farms, fruit trees, parks, hiking trails, farmers markets, and more. If you will be at the home with your guests, feel free to include pictures of your favorite meals, hobbies or anything that will tell travelers a little bit more about you! For best quality pictures for your listing, photos uploaded should be around 895 x 590px in size.
Make sure to provide as much detail as possible about your accommodation and the surrounding area, so travelers know exactly what they are getting before booking with you. You know how important the kitchen is to most vegans and vegetarians, so be sure to provide detailed information about yours! List the appliances your guests will have access to, and let your guests know if they will be able to store food in your refrigerator. Please note any restrictions and rules you have for guests when using your kitchen (in addition to the no-meat policy).
Hosts are encouraged to offer additional services to their guests to help make their stay a life-changing one. Whether it is wellness consulting, acupuncture, yoga lessons, cooking demonstrations or transportation services – we welcome it all on Vegvisits! Be sure to include the cost of your services, as well as how you would like to be paid, as payments by your guests will be made directly to you and is not currently handled by Vegvisits.
You have the option of requiring a refundable security deposit when you guests first arrive. Deposits are not currently processed through Vegvisits, and must be collected by you upon check-in.
To protect your privacy, you are asked to provide the
of your accommodation. The complete address of your space will only be provided to Guests after you have confirmed their booking requests, and will not be seen by any other users of the platform. For the approximate location of your listing, do not provide your complete address, as this will be seen by all users searching for accommodations. Instead, please provide a location (road, park, store etc.) near you so travelers can get a good idea of the general location of your space.
Once your listing is live, you will begin to receive booking inquiries from vegans and vegetarians around the world! We have made it easy for you to exchange messages with potential guests through our secure messaging system. Be sure to take a look at their profiles and ask any questions you want answered before confirming their bookings.
You will have 48 hours to confirm or deny their requests.

The Vegvisits community is made up of both travelers and local hosts.
At a basic level, there’s a real practical purpose for Vegvisits. As a traveler, you can rest assured on having access to either a vegan or vegetarian kitchen, your favorite appliances, and helpful inside knowledge from your host who shares a similar lifestyle as you — all while truly experiencing what it is like to live in another part of the world! As a host, you can keep your home and kitchen just as you like it for a unique and homey feel while earning some extra income!
Getting started with Vegvisits is super easy… and free!
Vegan and vegetarian locals can list their homes, vacation properties, rooms or other space types to accommodate overnight travelers, or even just list their kitchens on a per hour basis! Travelers can search for vegan and vegetarian accommodations at their desired destination, whether it be for an extended vacation, overnight stay or simply to prepare one of their own home-cooked meals! They can also filter their search results by vegan or vegetarian kitchen type, favorite appliances, host diet (vegan, vegetarian, raw, nut-free, gluten-free, and high-carb low fat) and more to help them find the perfect accommodation for their needs!
Hosts and travelers have the opportunity to read all about accommodations and each other through profiles, reviews, and detailed listings. They can also message each other through the platform to get all their questions answered before booking or confirming a trip!
But it is everyone on here, our experiences together, and the things we think, say and do that really defines who we are. Vegvisits may be an online platform, but we are not robots, and are truly excited to grow, change and evolve to whatever else we all come up with in the future! We’ll always be a community of vegans and vegetarians, but the sky is truly the limit on what more it can be!
