(VAS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL), a mutual legal reserve insurance company that’s been run by the same family since 1936.  VAS provides medical discounts and service programs to individuals and groups. While our parent company is in the insurance business, VAS has diversified into other areas. Our products are not insurance and our programs are not intended to replace insurance plans members may have, but to enhance them.
