Vanguard Energy Partners, a national solar construction firm, has designed and installed over 105 MW of solar projects since 2003 and currently has another 30 MW under construction. Mr. Ferreira’s leadership experience within the construction and renewable energy industries spans three decades. His technical expertise and valuable insights support his hands-on approach to owning and managing Vanguard Energy Partners, Ferreira Construction, and Noveda Technologies. An active member of numerous industry organizations, Mr. Ferreira believes in fostering opportunities for each employee’s personal and professional development. Frequently recognized for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements, Mr. Ferreira continues to maintain a vision of growth and expansion for his firms. Mr. Helms is responsible for managing the company's overall financial practices, in addition to overseeing the Accounting and Administration Departments. Mr. Helms brings eighteen years of diversified hands-on experience in business and human capital development, along with a proven track record for maintaining financial integrity and efficient operating procedures. Vice President, Technical Business Development Senior Vice President, Business Development Mr. Rivera is responsible for managing sales and business development initiatives. In addition, Mr. Rivera tracks government solar incentives for VEP. He has over fifteen years of business development experience and is a member of the New Jersey Alliance for Action Energy Committee, the Solar Energy Industry Association (SEIA) and serves on the steering committee for the Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy. Mr. Martin is responsible for directing Vanguard's Energy Maintenance Solutions (EMS) Division, leading a full time team of project managers, technicians and support staff. He oversees all EMS proposals and contracts, and provides strategic support for EMS monitoring, testing and services. Mr. Martin's career has spanned three decades in the electrical industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is licensed in NJ as a contractor (#8203) and inspector (#8519). After owning and partnering in electrical contracting businesses, Richard began his career in the solar industry in 2006. His expertise in the NEC continues to be a valuable asset to Vanguard. He is also a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer. VANGUARD ENERGY PARTNERS The Town of Morristown, NJ, should expect electrical output of 635,800 kWh in the first year, which is equivalent to the avoided emissions of 1,006,649 lbs. of CO₂. This is comparable to taking 81 cars off of the road, conserving 51,828 gallons of gasoline or the preservation of 3.2 acres of forest annually.
