Today, as part of Beacon, ValueOptions of California makes up part of the largest privately held MBHO in the nation, created by merging together Value Options Inc. and Beacon Health Strategies, in 2014. Proudly serving members since 1991, ValueOptions of California was originally established under the name American PsychManagement of California, Inc. following licensure as a Knox-Keene plan in December 1990, and offers behavioral health care service plan products and employee assistance programs to large employers and health plans throughout the State of California.
