In 2014, the company exited from manufacturing in Jordan and aligned its sales and manufacturing strategy to maximize the duty-free benefits out of Haiti. The resulting business model, centers on the manufacturing of both basic and value-added, high-duty garments, assembled from circular and warp knitted fabrics. The company is an active participant in the apparel national trade associations in the United States Val D’or’s president is a Director on the Board of the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) In addition, ValD’or Haiti is working closely with Better Work Haiti and FLA and has earned the reputation of being the “Go To” factory in Haiti. Full Package Service provider from Product Development to Shipping Val D’or Apparel is a highly respected, full-package manufacturer of both branded and private label clothing. Since 2006, at its inception, the company owned and operated Sterling Apparel MFG, Jordan. In 2015, Val D’or expanded its operation by opening a new 105,000 sq. ft State of the Art facility in Haiti. Val D’or Haiti is recognized as a full- service provider of high quality garments and services several National Brands as well as all facets of the U.S. retail system including Specialty, Mass Market and all levels of Retail. The company specializes in the manufacturing of Men’s and Ladies Performance Apparel, including Active Wear, Compression Wear and Baselayer underwear. Currently ValD’or Haiti employs approximately 1500 people. Our process began by recruiting top management from Sterling Apparel Jordan- including our Director of Accounts and Operations Manager, to duplicate the best practices in Haiti. We work closely with each customer on product development, sampling and costing. This is followed by the sourcing and efficient bulk purchasing of raw materials and continues in the cutting, sewing, attribution, QA, packaging and shipping of production garments. Through the continual refinement of our operational processes, we have developed a keen understanding of the requirements necessary to execute full-package garment manufacturing at the highest quality levels.
