The mission of Unified Women's Healthcare is to preserve personalized healthcare and to be recognized as a premier thought leader in the field of women's health. Unified Women's Healthcare wants to protect the private practice of medicine and ensure the economic security of Ob-Gyns for the Established in 2009 and designed to provide a collaborative model for physicians, Unified Women's Healthcare is the first doctor-owned Ob-Gyn group to spread across state lines. Fueled by rapidly changing market dynamics and The Affordable Care Act, Unified Women's Healthcare, provides a unique and promising approach for the future of medicine. Dr. Suba also has created and oversees the operation of The Faron Group, PLLC, an Ob-Gyn Hospitalist/Laborist group serving the needs of the patients and Medical Staff of Texas Health Southwest Hospital. His experience as President of (and now consultant to) Strategic Management Service, Inc., and now as President of Chisholm Medical Management, Inc., has enhanced his appreciation for the challenges faced by Ob-Gyn providers in women’s health care today. In addition, Dr. Suba serves as Vice President of the advisory board of the Ob-Gyn Risk Alliance (OBRA) of the ProAssurance Company. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a Fellow of theAmerican College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Suba is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Aaron M. Sudbury, MD is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reproductive Surgery through the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is the President of Florida Woman Care, the largest Ob-Gyn group in the state of Florida with 514 providers. He has served on The Board of Directors since 2012, established and chaired The Quality Assurance and Patient Safety Committee and established and organized The National EHR Committee. Dr. Sudbury attended University of Miami School of Medicine for his medical degree and completed his Residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He has been in private practice in Manatee County since 2004 when he started a solo practice. Since then he has evolved along with the medical environment first by expanding his practice, then by joining one of the largest physician owned practices in the country. Dr. Sudbury has maintained full involvement in the Manatee County Medical Society and Florida Medical Association (FMA) since his first year out of residency. He has served on the FMA board for about 10 years and is currently serving FMA, including Secretary of FMA PAC and also Chair of the Counsel on Medical Economics and Practice Innovation. Dr. Sudbury has been the Chief of Staff and has served on The Board of Governors at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center for the past 4 years. He is in touch with physician and patient concerns and the changing dynamics of medical practice. As the co-founder in charge of recruitment for Florida Woman Care, Dr. Briggs established one of the fastest growing, largest Ob-Gyn groups in the United States. Dr. Briggs also co-founded Unified Physician Management (UPM), the strategic business partner for Ob-Gyns. Dr. Briggs is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Loyola of Chicago School of Medicine. He received one of two national scholarships from the New York Leopold Schepp Foundation to attend medical school. He has practiced in Boca Raton, Florida since 1986. Kenneth A. Konsker, M.D. is co-founder of Unified Physician Management and FWC Management Company as well as co-founder and President of Florida Woman Care. Florida Woman Care,is the largest Ob-Gyn group in the State of Florida with over 375 providers. It is Dr. Konsker's vision to unify physicians in a group model that promotes fairness and equality to its members. Dr. Konsker received a B.S. in Chemistry from Tufts University in 1988, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society. He completed his Medical Degree and Residency at New York's prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1996. Dr. Konsker works on several basic principles: integrity, dedication and hard work — and values the same from his management team. He believes that physicians and insurance companies should work symbiotically rather than adversarially. In addition to his commitment to FWC and the management company, he continues to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology and values his relationships with patients. Dr. Konsker is a leader in minimally-invasive surgery, lectures regularly, and trains many physicians across the country in these techniques. Dr. Winifred Soufi is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her medical degree and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She completed her internship and residency at Duke University. Following residency in 1996, Dr. Soufi joined Women's Health Associates. On staff at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Dr. Soufi is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Soufi is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership Campus and in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Soufi serves on the Board of the Georgia Ob-Gyn Society, is a volunteer lecturer on women's health issues, and has had a number of publications in medical and scientific journals. Dr. Soufi strives to provide quality patient care for her patients using the most advanced medical technology as well as personal support and comfort.
