AmeriFirst Bank was the parent company of what is known today as USA Consultant Group Inc – A company of reference in the field of distribution and manufacturing. Leonardo Da Silva, its founder, former president of AmeriFirst Bank Wholesale Division, began his career in 1966 as a small family business owner. His first notable success came in the field of commercial restaurant equipment in NYC. After successfully exiting that industry, Mr. Da Silva started a chain of successful and well-remembered local furniture stores in Miami. The success of same was only exceeded by the notoriety of the jingle! The transition to Miami was critical due to Miami’s location as a port city with great industrial development, tourism and extremely important bridge to global connections. In 1996 Mr. Da Silva sold his interests in his furniture stores and entered the field of real-estate and mortgage banking. Working with New Century Mortgage, then playing a role in the founding of People’s Trust Mortgage, and ultimately in AmeriFirst Bank. In 2011, USA Consultant Group begins its process of internationalization by opening the first subsidiary in Spain. Subsequently, in 2015, it begins to market its products in Latin America, initiating a process of new openings in the exterior and it is through these by which come to form part of the group, one of the largest (and discrete) producers of footwear known all over the world.
