Mission Our alliance of retina physicians exists to enhance business systems, focusing the unrealized incremental values of our member practices in order to build real and lasting value, create paths to increase referrals, improve quality of care and outcomes, as well as mitigate compliance and market risks. Dr. Logan Brooks completed his fellowship in retina at Wills Eye Hospital in 1988. After two years in academics at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, he relocated to Tallahassee, Florida, and founded Southern Vitreoretinal Associates. He expanded the practice throughout the panhandle of Florida — as well as South Georgia — helped by his five partners and associates. Dr. Brooks earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Florida Southern College and his medical degree from the University of Florida. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. This program utilizes our aggregate group card spending to obtain higher rebate amounts than an individual practice could typically obtain independently. Lunovus has partnered with USRetina to offer our membership access to their entire portfolio of age-related macular degeneration and dry eye products. A complete, USR-labeled, line of products is available to members at special pricing. All Lunovus products are made in the United States in FDA-inspected and GMP-compliant facilities. Through our partnership with Lunovus, USRetina members can offer high-quality products at the best possible price, leading to better patient outcomes. Our GPO mission is to benefit all USRetina GPO members, large or small. We now have relationships with 18 industry-leading companies in the healthcare space.
